Healthy Chocolate Frosting Recipe

I love to experiment with chocolate. On a rainy weekday I created this yumminess. This is the closest I get to the worlds healthiest chocolate frosting. I use this for almost everything that need some chocolate; as pancake topping, frosting on cakes, to tame my sweet tooth, sprinkled in yoghurt, plain as dessert, or as an all natural nutella- spread.

This is a completely guilt- free sugar free and super- healthy, raw chocolate frosting. If you are not vegan or eating raw you may add 1 egg, to make it even more creamy. If you are on the LCHF, or don’t want honey; feel free to use another sugar substitution. This raw chocolate frosting takes 3 minutes to make, and it also counts for 1 of your daily veggies!

Ingredients:

1 ripe avocado

3-4 tablespoons Acasia honey OR 2-3 tablespoons Agave syrup

2- 3 tablespoons cacao

(1 egg)

Method:

  1. Peel the avocado. Cut it in big chunks and put it in the foodprocessor. Use a small foodprocessor if you have (as you can see on the picture I used a bigger food processor, and got some small chunks in it). Add the rest of the ingredients.
  2. Turn on the foodprocessor and run it until it is smooth. Taste it and add more cacao or honey after taste.
